Does anyone have actual knowledge of more layoffs coming for North American teams? I’ve heard rumors, but wondering if anyone who has knowledge can share…?

It’s already started. All of NA ICA were laid off yesterday.
Does anyone know which departments might be affected further down the line by project June 2024?
There are plenty of Director, Senior Director level folks absolutely useless and have lost touch of engineering or whatsoever their department is. They must go! Alex must look into this rather trying to fcuking off the bottom level hard workers.
If you work as a GCS teammate in NA, update your resume ASAP. Credible reports are saying late first week of July. SMH.
I can tell that my dept is about to take a hit just by how things feel right now. Leadership started training Bangalore agents to do a bunch of tasks that have never been done by them before starting in Jan, they’ve been really aggressive about getting SOPs fully written out instead of relying on tribal knowledge, and agent schedules have been well short of a full days work for some time now. I’m pretty certain I’m not safe, but luckily I don’t “need” the job and will be just fine once they finally make the cut. I’m looking forward to a paid break and hoping for severance + unemployment. That said I feel awful for any of my coworkers who may be getting hit and actually need this job to stay afloat. So many of the people on my team are older folks and I’d hate to see them lose their jobs.
Whoever said Alex Chriss is praiseworthy has no credibility. He’s been nothing more than an out of touch snake in the grass. I’m willing to bet there will be more layoffs sooner than later based on how toxic the environment has been lately. Not to mention all the micromanaging that’s been going on lately.
When is the update coming?
The next update will contain layoffs and a road map for return to office for remaining departments

They announced it in a marketing meeting yesterday that there will be layoffs company-wide.
How do people know this though? Is it from reading inbetween the lines or has it been said to you directly by someone involved in this.
The senior management hasn't settled on a name yet. Currently, it's designated as PROJECT SUMMER 2024 and is being kept confidential from lower levels to distinguish it from PROJECT JANUARY 2024.
