Those with medical accommodations (MAs) who are approved to work remotely traditionally have not had "Remote" listed as location (hub location addlress would still appear in Workday).
My understanding is that this was done because:
- MA might be for limited time
- differentiate between those who work remotely due to distance from hub location (who ARE listed as "Remote")
However, now I'm seing people w/MAs with Workday location listed as "Remote". Why the change? How will it be differentiated from those who work remotely due to being 40+ miles from hub?
I'm wondering how this will impact layoff decisioning, too.
