Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

NSRL open head count

Hey great to see open positions that Nike is trying to fill….
But WTAF? The NSRL just let go of multiple, dedicated, intelligent employees with plenty of experience who could be filling these positions and would’ve had a great running start. It defies logic and sends a pretty clear and bleak message to those employees who remain.
NXT is rotten at the top.
Leadership should be ashamed.

Mn hired this one snakes oil brain person for a few years now. No real studies or scientific insights, just bs words and fake theories. Everyone knows it’s a fraud but him it’s plain comical.

Read what the fearless NSRL, VP leader Matt Nurse said in this article. Nonsensical, gibberish that makes absolutely no sense. Athletes are inspired and confident due to many factors, but Matt what you said is elementary at best.. Really, are athletes only inspired by a pop of color in their outfits? No wonder the lab is in shambles. But you know how to manage up, don’t you? look and sound good while you BS your way, Your times up! And While on it, clean out his bros in NXT.

I am glad I am not the only one who felt that way. What the actual fu-k! Came out of a 6-month zombie Era of layoffs and suddenly jumped into hiring so many head counts... Do these people even have a clear job responsibilities or we are just adding more headcount to the mix hoping it all just somehow magically work at the end????

They've been consistently reducing scientists and increasing managers/support/ops.
It's nuts to see them add more layers and allow leaders to continuously delegate away their responsibilities. Sr Dir to Dir to Snr Mngr to Mngr. Fu--s sakes back then the lab had way more researchers doing science with ONE director and everyone was happier. These days the only ones actually doing science are the bottom level researchers. STEM folks with MS and PhDs earning U band bottom dollar. Everyone above that is just talking about work and making up self importance.
