Anyone else get an invite to a random zoom meeting today for an “organization huddle”? Would love to hear everyone’s thoughts on what it could be. Preparing for the worst over here.

This is how we were laid off back in January. I'm actually grateful b
That Humana laid me off because I got hired by another healthcare company and my income almost doubled.
Yes, they are wanting 100 volunteers to accept the severance package and job would terminate in July this year. It's so discouraging since a year ago it was obvious we were overstaffed but kept hiring for pharmacy. This year we had zero OT and our AIP was slashed, of course Bruce still made an extra 1mill plus, compared to his previous years earnings. Imo the higher ups responsible for allowing more hiring when it was dead need to be the first to go. I'm not even in management and I could even see that was a poor decision.
Clinical pharmacy employees impacted, Dr Call, Clinical Services, Failed Claims, etc. praying people volunteer
The email I received said not to forward, it was for centerwell front end and backend clerks, pharm techs, pharmacists, supervisors and customer service I believe. To say everyone in my department is freaking out is an understatement. The queues we work have been slow but no slower than previous years. When offered PTO I always accept, I know most people refuse and sit in “Empty Queue” which is definitely not helping matters. My supervisor couldn’t give me any information regarding who would be in danger of a layoff if not enough people volunteer. I hope it’s based on the work performance, but I’ve only been with the company 3 years so I’m worried I’d be on the chopping block if it’s just based on seniority.
Apparently if 100 people don’t volunteer for the severance, they will make cuts based off metrics. I’m genuinely curious how many people are going to be willing. It seems like not many - does anyone know a single person who is actually considering or going to do it?
From what I hear they are also cutting the PA pharmacists in the future...because forcing medical professionals to go faster to meet quota and reolacing them with AI has worked oh so well, especially in the public eye.
Do ya’ll think that CenterWell is not in good shape financially? Because I could have sworn in the most recent Earnings Call that it was expressed that CenterWell was growing and thriving. So why are they doing voluntary layoffs in Operations? It’s being reported that they need 100 people to take the package. If not, I’m sure RIF’s in CenterWell will be coming down the pipeline soon.
Did it end up being voluntary layoff?
Anyone interested in a union?
Optional severance might be a blessing.
Check out what Cigna is doing. Forcing back in office and tracking badge in and badge out.

How many people work in Dr call back? Seems kind of vital for getting prescriptions filled.
Looks like voluntary opt in reduction with severance packages. 100 spots to fill. 2wks pay for every year of service.
I'm in DCP remotely and already pulled up the old resume to update it just in case. Usually good news isn't mandatory just sayin...
Apparently screening hasn’t heard anything. Which scares me, cause if it were a merger you’d think they’d be telling everyone involved in pharmacy. HR is also CC’d on the email. Looks like it’s changes to DCQ and DCP only so far.
DCP- Dr Call Phones & DCQ- Dr Call Queues
What is DCP AND DCQ
Looks like they need to trim for the merger.
Yeah that’s where I’m from. 2pm EST. Hoping for the best…
It looks like DCP and DCQ both got invited.
I got it too.
No. What time is it for? I hope it's nothing bad. Good luck
Doesn’t say anything about forwarding. It’s for my entire department and apparently another department got it as well. We are on the pharmacy side of things.
Does it say to not forward it?
No
