Every other Tuesday my heart hurts for all of the wonderful talented employees that have been displaced by this company. What a tragic loss this is to an industry that can accomplish so much more with the best talent it has. Same on the BOD or whoever has made the horrible decisions to banish some of the brilliant and most talented employees this company has had. You will regret the terrible decisions that have been made…….

The Chaseification of Wells Fargo continues. We are going from a proud West Coast bank with a rich Pony Express/Gold Rush history to a third rate NY based bank. I anticipate my location strategy layoff notice any day now after 30+ years. It was a good ride, but I’m ready to go.

I agree. Corporations are heartless. I'm not naive, I simply remember when they valued employees, didn't use layoffs as first course of action, and didn't pay CEOs millions for running companies intto the ground.
Where are all these displaced people supposed to find jobs? It's not uncommon for it to take 2+ yrs for some to find a new role and its often for much less $$$.
If they can't make ends meet and have no $$$ to spend, it contributes to a failed economy.
This capitalism machine only works for the wealthy.
