When I saw the stock was down 17%, I wished I had dump the few remaining shares that I own after getting layed off last year. After that, I started laughing my behind off thinking about all those execs that just saw $10s of millions evaporate. Couldn't happen to a nicer group of folks.....

So you lost your job last year, well glad your gone. Hope you’re having a hard time finding a new job because you sound like such a great person to work with. Here is wishing you 52 more weeks of unemployment.
They just added more top execs. So many layers of management getting paid millions. Karen has got to go
Just another bullet point for CEO of the year. Way to go keep up the great job.
Start writing your next book Empty space the bankrupting of a company.
Read a quote today that hits home with this. “What you do not change, you choose”. You can only be fooled for so long, this company is dangling a carrot over your head promising you big future things… but… it really means “stay with me and I won’t give you what you want”. Changing employers is hard and so is change in general. But it’s a he-l of a lot better than wasting years of your life for nothing but survival and disappointment. Choose your hard.
If folks weren't smart enough to head for the exits after these last rounds of layoffs, not sure me being empathetic or not is going to help them. Lots of non-layed off employees were posting on this board (not sure why) telling us that were to move on and accept that the company is just not that into us anymore. Karma as they say....
It may not be the most empathetic however… the people still working under this company are choosing to stay there even though the writing is on the wall… CVS has fu---d over a lot of people so while I’m sorry it will affect your already low rate of pay, I also agree with the OP. This corrupt giant needs to fall and I have my popcorn all ready for it to.
You realize this stock drop affects all employees, not just executives. Not referring to bonuses only, referring to more layoffs.
Not very empathetic of you to laugh at us just because you were layed off.
Yeah, I was in the ESP up until my Omnicare layoff last month. I'm no doubt down on the investment I started 3 years ago. I checked the progress last month and for the 3 years I am down about $1,000. The only reason I actually was about even was because those numbers were based on actual purchase price, where as employees we had 10 percent discount. With the tank job today, I'm no doubt in the red even with the discount.
On same note, last week I received a direct deposit with my "funds" being held for next stock buy on July 1. But they even sc--wed that up. Instead of waiting one more week, they sent me my funds up until 2 weeks before the layoff. So they still pulled money from my last official check that I didn't get back. Will probably have to call them to get it.
