Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

How does FTC noncompete impact WF employees?

Does that mean WF employees can have outside business activities?

Did you not see that the FTC banned non compete agreements nationwide?

It doesn't unless you are a financial advisor or have co-joint patents with Wells Fargo. And then the "new" regulation since there have been exceptions made to it (by the banking industry). WFA doesn't want you to take your clients with you if you leave.

Not in any way whatsoever. 2 completely different situations. Non compete clause is when you leave a firm you can’t immediately go work for a competitor & possibly take business secrets, processes, etc.
Please research just the slightest bit. Google is your friend.

If you don't know, then you aren't impacted

I believe the non-compete is after you leave the job, not during -- I don't believe you can go open a bank while employed by WF... but what do I know.
