Those of us still here are worried about our jobs every day. The company spent millions to have some uppity add company come in and create a new brand mission about community and how we care about our customers. This was SP vision from day one and it’s a failure, the employees aren’t buying into it. When are they going to give up on the SP and Adam mission, how they came from humble beginnings. As soon as they took over the company tanked. This would have never happened under the John’s. The earnings call was so cringe, I felt bad for CW. Little by little they are laying off the people that built the company up under the John’s. Now after the most recent call we’re worried again. Direction starts at the top. Drop SP and AR and PP too while you’re at it.

I used to work in NSO and found instances of employees (contractors) costing the company a lot of money and was told unless its costing the company over 24 million a year, they don't care about it and for me to stop reporting it.
I think we can all agree we are doing our part except for marketing/sales... They are the biggest failures and losers but hold so much political power in the organization. If the people you pay are fleeing, why would someone pay you for service?
SP literally gets mad if the formatting, font, indentation, or anything else in a report doesn’t match.
Doesn’t matter that what’s on the page is correct and the info is important, you’ll get abused if it’s wrong. Go back and fix it.
So much time wasted on this pet peeve and even more if she sends it back to be formatted which at times, slows things down to a crawl.
Also heard she’s downgrading directors to managers.
I agree, SP is useless. Her culture is run like a cornball MLM company trying to scam their "employees." No accountability for failed marketing campaigns and slogans and the commercials su-ked. Like really? Using "influencers" in your commercials while TMobile is hiring Jason Mamoa amonst other real celebrities.
And Frontier is ki-ling Charter with their speeds and pricing.... and I distinctly remember SP saying no one cares about upload speeds. LOL. Thats id--tic.
Yes, its 100% a leadership problem. Its not the technology and engineering, they only work on what leadership wants. I myself suggested we create a national app to compete with Netflix over 6 years ago and leadership scoffed at my idea. Now look at what they are trying to do. I could run Charter better than those chimps.
Bring back Hargis and Bickham.
Their understudies are failing miserably
Charter sat on the butts thinking low prices were good enough and no need to upgrade the system for faster speeds. Thinking no one would spend the money to overbuild they kept doing their thing. All of the sudden the government supplies the cash for the competition to overbuild and it's off to the races with Charter getting left in the dust. High Split is a band aid, and they started way too late. In California, Frontier and AT&T didn't have the man power for an over build, till Charter sc--wed over their contract labor by slashing the prices, making them do "rescue installs" at a lower price than an install, which is the same job, requiring the same work and making contractors pay the same wages to employees, even though they were taking it in the shorts. Along comes the competition offering better contract prices and Charter was sc--wed. Now those companies have been activating the fiber, offering Spectrum customers faster speeds for less money and Charter is losing internet customers as well as video and phone. So their income is cut, and the CEO thought it would be a great idea to take the work in house and get rid of contractors all together. Now he has a ton of new techs with nothing to do all day burning up cash. So now the layoffs are flying.. Ca is getting rid of ROC and DOJ and numerous other positions. Layoffs to start in 90 days, some were given one year notice. Way to go Charter!! 45 billion dollar company, over 100 billion in debt..
Directors waste most of their time putting together weekly reports for their VPs to meet with the GVPs it’s a viscous circle.
It’s not an issue with leadership.
We have an inferior product to wireless and fiber. Blame technology and engineering.
Highsplit should have been completed by now.
There is only so much sales and marketing can do
Directors need to do more. They delegate too much, our VP’s and GVP’s are overloaded
