Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Frank, why the senior level turnover?

  1. Losing hearts and minds. Not a human company.
  2. Poor (Gibbons) and inexperienced (LeClair) leaders. LeClair who said she was too cheap to by Pizza. Gibbons who everyone quit on.
  3. New Marketing head heard saying disparaging things about previous Marketing leadership...not real classy.
  4. Obsessive talk of hours at work vs performance.
  5. Out of touch or unwilling to address real issues in Tech.

the list goes on fueling out of control turnover in last year. Rubinetti being the latest to leave.

The old marketing team was full of controlling and condescending propaganda experts. They acted like they ran the whole company and it was a different one than the rest of us were working in…. I hope the new head unloads every single one of them, and creates a real marketing organization.

Our CEO is too focused on how many hours he can get employees to sit at their desks and not real output and results or how effective someone is no matter where they are.

Sapience is no big deal if people are putting in a full days work - remote or in the office. May even help show how much people are actually working instead of just relying on physical presence / badge reports.

He’s not focused on what will drive real exponential growth, better products, new offerings.
Squeeze the dry lemon harder to meet growth. Kick the donkey in the a-s harder. Frank is about brute force and pressure and telling people they are never good enough. That method may get minimal results to stay above water but it won’t make us great.

How about making the lemon bigger, healthier to grow, and add some oranges and other stuff people want to buy.

GBS is the best thing we have here for growth and now somehow we ended up with a leader over that business who couldn’t lead her way out of a paper bag, nor does she understand how to run a business. Sh-t show.

Previous marketing leadership deserves to have disparaging things said about it.

It’s good that these people are leaving. The organization is accustomed to playing musical chairs. The new Sapience initiative is beginning to tick off a lot of employees. There will be more RIFs and terminations ahead. Meantime I plan to jump ship as I am tired of being part of an organization that does not care about its employees and make stupid decisions.
