I know someone who goes by a title that is not even on our pecking order list!
My manager is so full of himself he has decided he wants to change his title to something bigger! So HR or Sr Dir do not know about this but he has started using a different/bigger title in his signature! Bro has taken self promotion to a whole new level!!!
