Technology Connection support worthless

Anyone else notice that when you call Technology the first line of support is in India. They have not once been able to solve my issue. Each time they then transfer me to an American worker who actually knows what the f*%k they're doing.

Yep happened to me. I call that my latest software push broke my VDI, india person tells me to reboot my laptop! I told him that won’t help, he ended up transferring to a stateside guy that fixed it. Ugh!!

@2vfb+1sfwl0dj what about when we are working a major production issue and our India support disappears for hours for their Bollywood dance class in the lobby of their DC? Or leave for hours in the middle of their shift to take care of their parents business? God forbid when its time to catch their company paid cab. Gone like the Flash no matter what issue they are working on. and Earth Day is a Malibu Barbie and friends thing, most of us stateside are glued to our unassigned desks trying to fix all the offshore F-ups.

I guess if people in the US could do their jobs efficiently and effectively, then there would not be a need to offshore their work. But most of them are celebrating Earth Day, and dancing around the world instead of addressing issues . Maybe the US should ask themselves if they are worth their inflated ego.

oh heck yes, I had one that wanted to reimage my laptop, I even told her what the issue was and what to do about it. I declined, opened up a Incident ticket and assigned it to the US PC Support Team, he fixed it within 5 minutes.

MyIT (TC) would benefit from a cleaner knowledge base and easy-to-interpret decision trees for routing calls more expediently to the appropriate next hop. Never expect first call resolution.

Charlie is the worst,,, This tech cr-p is horrible. No one wants to talk to them. They can’t fix sh-t. He must be proud with his millions in bonuses by getting rid of years and years of hard working Americans ! That made the company what it was when you came in and are ruining it!

Yes it’s really bad! What Charlie has done is make himself look like he is doing the right thing when he is ruining the company! India isn’t going to work everyone is sick of it! They pass the buck is all they do…. When will people like Scharf learn! STOCKHOLDERS DONT GIVE A SH-T THAT IT WENT UP ON THE BACKS OF YEARS AND YEARS OF HARD WORKING AMERICANS LOSING THEIR JOBS, they did not have to do it that way! Almost NO ONE at TC knows wtf they are doing. I have been transferred to mouth breathing stateside staff who can only read off a script. I just hang up and call back while leaving terrible feedback for those who start the process.
