That was said during my call Monday by someone with zero and I mean ZERO compassion. Ok, so what the fu-k was the reason I lost my job?! Anyone else hear this line of steaming garbage?

I'm curious if there is a correlation between people who didn't get pay adjustments last year, or got very small ones, and those that got laid off.
Definitely age based and if you made too much. So corrupt there!
Compensation can get you. Same happened to an old boss who was beyond range.
I think it was on compensation. I was apparently paid pretty high in my pay range.
They won’t get a rating. And who cares? This isn’t elementary school. You have no permanent record. I’ve watched people get fired while being lucky to not be sued, and we hired them right back 6 months later.
Question is does anyone yet know their FY24 CFE rating? Of course you don’t, since the fiscal year isn’t over. But guess what, you will still be an “employee” when the ratings get locked. No telling what the losers at Nike will do to your final performance rating. Will impacted employees receive a NR (not rated)? Or will something more sinister happen?
Nike has zero ability to measure anyone’s performance, the CFE is a waste of binaries. It has always been a good old boys network, if you talk a big game you survive & advance like a cockroach.
If they say it’s performance based, they’ll have to prove it and they can’t. They will never tell us now our names are drew without get in to legal trouble, all we will ever get is a BS HR answer. Let go and move on.
It was about age not performance . They can’t tell you that. Most of the people I saw cut were over 45 with a few mid 30s to make it seem fair.
heard the same. I would rather them tell me it was my performance than me wonder why I was chosen out of the blue amongst my peers that fit to keep their jobs. it's all who you brown nose.
Zero fairness. Often times it has a lot to do with who you know, not what you know.
