The Hulkster is for sure a baboon but apparently yall have not been talking to XOM folks. The XOM reps that have been coming here for visits are just as worried about the FTC as anyone else. Nobody should be taking what XOM says to the media at face value.
2Q does not automatically mean end of June. The deal will close Friday then they will put a bid on Hess sit back and watch.
Source is Exxon read the article, late June which means they don’t have a clue due to the fact it’s going to litigation.
They don't have a source just trying to stir the pot. Will be glad when Friday gets here so we quit having to see id--ts like that post.

The Hulkster was correct!! It’s not closing this week 😂. Late June is only a guess at this point. 18 months is more likely.
Why would the FTC sue anyway? This deal is great for the executi-, I mean the American consumers.
