Same thing with Risk. Remote folks are in first wave of layoffs. And is remote no matter how close you live to a hub. Sadly, I've been watching co-workers training their India counterparts who will be taking their jobs in the next few months (yes, they've been given a date to finish training).
I imagine the 1-2 downs got together and devised a plan where remote is gone first then they can deal with all the other location variables over the next 12-18 months.
ALL REMOTE WORKERS WILL BE GONE SOONER RATHER THAN LATER, NO MATTER WHERE YOU SIT!!!
Yeah, anyone else hear this rumor I just made up?
That’s a false statement California remotes will be around until the end of 2027.
Not likely. COO is the new big bloat of the bank and unfortunately the slowest at most everything.
All part of the overarching strategy to get rid of as many domestic workers as is possible.
No you didn’t. F off with your obvious chicken little trolling
That’s not rumor, unfortunately.
COO remote here and wildly raising my hand. Please pick me already!
Unless California is the name of a neighborhood in Bangalore, yes will be let go. Why do people keep asking the same question over and over? Yes, remote workers are good as gone, yes everyone else is going to take a huge staffing cut. Don’t think it won’t happen to you.
No one can be remote. If you’re not in a hub location, you’ll be let go. Sad times
Yes it is
@lar stop teasing me with this year of PTO I keep hearing rumors of.
You need to worry about the remaining 75% getting cut as well. In two years this will be a company with 1% remote workforce.
Yes
