It s unbelievable how some VPs and Distinguished Engineers are still there. Not a long ago the same people were:
over hiring in the GEOs
pushing the so called “platform strategy” and spending millions for nothing
Building everything when there were modern and cost competitive capabilities from SaaS partners
Spending a lot of money on Content Mgmt and CDP with you know who
Allowing the former leader to do whatever he wanted
Now they are all cleaning the house and driving Nike towards the future.
Who believes in this? Honestly?
Hopefully people will really speak up. Or will be 4 years doing nothing relevant…
Then you have jokesters like DD, the new VP of UX/UI. What has he done so far? Does anyone even know who he is?!!? Then awful leaders who unf. represent women like SO under his leadership who will stab you in the back and lie to your face and get an HR PIP going on you sooner than ever if you were left behind. Not sure how long I'll be able to survive this sh*t. Thanks to DA who put them all in leadership! He's prob the worst of them all!
You think DA is bad, try working with EC who has no real idea what is going on in his org and really is a bad leader.
Don’t expect much from this Tech Leadership. Each remaining VP are helping each other so they can stay and continue to k**l Nike Tech
No huddles on Monday as far as I know. Cuts are over, what more do you need to hear from leadership? Time to go back to work?
I second that. DA never spoke up and destroyed martech.worst leader you can ever see and now seeing him running the show. What a shame. Nike we can do better
