HR and the press team is going to be beating that dead horse now for the next 2 years.

I wonder how much they paid out to LinkedIn to get that ranking.
@gsq+1sdpU44i There are decent teams and roles, but your peaceful ride will be transformed at some point, and the manner will be thoughtless. Remember this post when a 33 year old COO exec lays you off via spreadsheet.

Wells Fargo has excellent public relations and marketing departments. Since the regulators discovered the fake customer accounts and shoreview incidents, Wells Fargo has perfected the media control strategy.
Yep. They are running out of peons to take advantage of and throw under the bus. People are not having any slice of WF these days and the brand died. Plenty of other, great orgs that do things correctly and allow you to see the light of day after. This place is not safe for anyone to work at and the board can step on eight bags of dog f e c e s.
They tried to get "new blood" in to work for the company about 4-5 years ago. That didn't work as those people were run off by the old guard &/or the culture. They are scraping the bottom of the barrel now.
Management in my group has always been good, the problem is the executives, which have been total garbage for many years now. Either the 8 if Great flavor of garbage or the 'we spend all day dreaming up fake justifications for outsourcing thousands of people' types. The current environment is incredibly corrosive. If they did the terms they were going to do without lies and quick, people would just move on, but the decade long game of "I wonder if I'm getting fired on Tuesday?" results in paralysis across the enterprise, zero trust, and minimal buy-in. How can a business possibly thrive in that environment? They need to rip off the Fing bandaid and be done with it. Dragging it out may save a tiny amount of money, but the damage done in the process more than makes up for it. HY has failed, and IMO there's no chance of a true recovery until we have regime change.
I think with this site you have a very vocal minority who think WF is the worst place on earth, and not to discount their truth, but I do believe they are in the minority. Sure there are plenty of terrible jobs and managers, but you will find that at any company. As someone who has been with WF for over a score, Ive had some bad managers but also plenty of good managers and thankfully the good managers have outweighed the bad. I've worked medium to hard, experienced plenty of promotions, have grown my salary each year, and have pretty good benefits. In fact, I would say our benefits are better than most companies, especially other financials. I get plenty of PTO, 6% 401k match (even though it only matches in December now), cheap life insurance, and health benefits. Yes, the health insurance costs more each year and not always the best options, but again you will find similar with other companies. I would also argue that our severance benefits are pretty good, and should I ever be laid off I'll have close to a year to find something else.
That’s so weird, because we have the lowest morale of any company out there!
I won't be around to witness a dêad horse beating.
I'm AM one of the dêad horses.
I only see announcements from the India folks.
