Thread regarding CVS layoffs

Affordable Housing Investments

With all the cash CVS is putting into affordable housing maybe they can make some available for those that have been layed off, or those that have there hours cut to minimum in stores. This company and its leaders are SO out of touch it’s amazing departments getting slashed, stores with literally 1-2 people staffed. And they still bi--h about payroll, yet they can put millions into feel good investments. Literally F—- all of those corporate a—holes.

The affordable housing nonsense is just a hallow PR joke. The complexes they’re investing in are FOR PROFIT rental properties that turn a positive profit for CVS. They get federal subsidies to cover some of the costs, and then CVS rakes in profits on their janky affordable housing complexes.

I saw that story a few weeks ago. What a joke. Stock price continues to tank. That will be the only way Karen finally gets sent packing.

Agreed fu-k corporate greed. The only way it stops is for people the take there power back and stop working for them. Take a stand otherwise it’ll just get worse.

Not to be a pessimist but they would have to follow their own “heart at work behaviors” and actually give a cr-p about their employees to do something this meaningful.
