how do you look for contract jobs at Nike?
Why would you even want to go back after all this? There’s a whole world outside that berm and it’s better than you think.
You have to wait for severance to clear but honestly, why would you want to go back? Once you have been laid off, you will surely be at the top of the list to cut again.
I'd suggest trying somewhere new first - you may find it is amazing versus current Nike.
If not, then look to come back.
Stockholm syndrome?
As someone that came back after a few years…
You can! Just know you’re treated like any other person applying (which is completely fair).
Getting back is not easy, but possible
Just focus on moving on. It’s better outside, your skillset is needed elsewhere.
You can return to Nike if you can find a role before severance is paid.
Once you’ve accepted severance, you must wait one year.
I was laid off in 2017 and returned. I survived CDA in 2020 only to be laid off with the failure of CDA.
Way to go JD. Thanks for ruining my dream career. I joined Nike with the intentions of retiring and loved it thru & thru.
JD is an embarrassment and instead of being accountable for cutting retailers and pumping market full of AF1s, he blames remote work.
Yes they will rehire, I've seen a few folks come back a couple years after being laid off.
One year
what's the designated time?
How about no?
All the time. A good handful actually, but as contract workers.
I have zero interest in returning after the way this has been handled. Zero.
Never go back to your abuser
People have been rehired after the designated time expires.
