Laid off, Family pics on work computer

Does anyone know if we’re allowed to get some of our documents/pictures from our computers once laid off? The computer is completely shut me out, so was curious.

In EHQ we have a temporary policy to keep the devices for 30 days instead of 14 days.
After that the device has a high chance of being reimanged.
So yeah you still can get the data.

Laid off in Phase 1. I had put all my personal files into a desktop folder labeled “Personal”. When given the chance to request files I asked for the contents of that folder and every file was provided to me within a week via a Box folder. Just be very specific about what you want them to give you and as long as it’s not Nike’s stuff they hand it over.

But my family photos on my work machine are steganography of corporate assets!

By the way…after theyll provide a similar link (to other files from your device) to your manager and ask them to review and save anything they’d like to. So…if you still have access and have other info save on your work computer, I’d move or delete it

You have to ask for them. Nike will pull them off and give you a Box link. But if you don’t move quick your hard drive is going to be formatted, if it isn’t already.

Lesson for those watching from pron to your family photos, NEVER put personal things on work devices.

Yes! You’ll get a link to a box folder with several files. One has instructions on how to submit data recovery requests
