It's been challenged in court by the US Chamber of Commerce. This is a Federal Oversight vs. States Rights issue. It is not ever likely to be implemented and at the very least will be tied up in the courts for years and years to come. Additionally, if you make over $151k per annum this regulation, as now written would not apply to you. It would also not apply if you work for a non-profit organization.

Worker’s rights. Good., We need those in the USA where workers are treated like expendable trash compared to say Europe.
