If the below is true and tech ops is done, we are still weaker than ever with EC and su-k ups still intact. Brutal. Fingers still crossed for severance tomorrow and don’t @ me with how grateful I should be for still having a job today.

Not an EC apologist, but you can't lay all the problems with GT at his feet. The org has been running in circles for 3 years before he joined and we were all derailed by the circus RL brought with him. JD and this ELT have made critical mistakes in strategy and hiring and it will take a lot more than replacing a mid level VP to correct it.
I agree with the OP, EC is such a weak leader and it is pretty obvious he is not in his position because of his merit.
