Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

Such poor leadership

Why don’t they ever layoff these damn district managers that are so awful staff keep leaving and no one wants to move up and work for. They have huge he files and yet they stay as make good people feel belittled, useless, an unmotivated. I have had good leaders who are motivational and have emotional intelligence, people want to work for them, not dictators who do nothing to actually help you do anything just figure it out. Figuring my way right out of this district.

DMs with commission make 150k plus. Trust was one for a long time. If they can't lead for that kind of money. They need to go.

The problem is that they aren’t genuine people and they think we don’t see that. We deal with hundreds of people a day, you think we don’t see through your fake smiles flood? Stop with the koolaid and talk to your front line like human beings & proactively listen. Without us you wouldn’t be making all that money. Consumer is dead.

Such poor leadership in the northeast, so happy to go on a call and get bashed…what a way to boost morale than to put everyone on a “bottom 10” call to get bashed. Pulse survey asks if we feel respected at work…NO!!

Contradicting district managers….”I need all managers on the floor , you cannot have a floor without a manager” ……Same breath “ I need you on the range of performance call , then the market call , then the smb call , than the bottom 10 call”

Managing off a report is outdated, and very poor results come from it. We don't need reports that tell you what percentage of perks are on a quote. What we need is result based management. The good do well, and the poor performers become the managers new project.

...huge he files....
...6 while stoles...

Some of you people need to proofread your posts before you hit submit. Maybe then others will understand what you are trying to get across. Gibberish.

There are way to many of them and they complain about having oversight of 6 while stoles. Over paid messengers. Ops and DM should be combined into one roll. I hate to see anyone lose their job but this is where the bloat is. There is a reason it's one of those roles that people get in and sit in for years and years. Should be regional managers not district.
