Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

Leaving for a competitor

I assume a lot of people are looking for a better company to work for due to the 4 day in office requirement (among MANY other reasons).

When you put your two week notice in to work for a competitor, does Truist let you fulfill your two weeks, let you go with pay or just let you go the day of your notice?

HBBT i was let go the day i gave notice. Truist/HR doesn't care so don't do them any favors.

It really depends on you, it’s a case-by-case basis. The best rule of thumb: if your heritage BBnT- you bring no value, easy to cut you loose immediately. hSTI teammates take a more strategic path. There is a reason why the hBBT leadership was pushed out

In agreement with the comments presented. You will be walked to the door. And they are vindictive. Be prepared to exit the building as soon as you submit notice. slowly clean your stuff out over a period of time. I was at BBT for several years. Ive seen the inside when this happens. Not pretty.

@1upe+1saabsWg And get ready to have to be a normal boot li---r where you have to come into work 5 days a week and lick boots at a desk. Oh, the horror! Oh, the inhumanity of it all! I swear our country has grown the most immature, shallow and inept boot lickers ever.

It depends on your position, but if it's a competitor then likely you will get paid for two weeks but walked to the front door the day you put in your 2 weeks.

Really depends on your job, but most frequently, I have seen that they will pay you your 2 week notice, but let you go the day you give notice.
