I learned from someone on another team that my director was let go this morning. I haven’t heard anything else. What can I expect tomorrow?

I’m an ETW so you know, I’m sc-m, but my entire team (VP, SDx3, Dir) were all let go in round one. It’s almost three months later and I was just given a new manager. I’m sure it’ll be different for you as a black badge and since we’re nearing the end of round 2, but my only source for information is the rumor mill as the remaining SDs/Dirs in the org have been ghosting me. Sounds like things will be clearing up in a week or two when they firm up and finalize the new teams and new workflows.
*I wasn’t let go, but I learned that my SD is no longer with the company. I still haven’t received an invitation, but I assume it’s because my VP is making all the calls, and my SDs org was huge.
Some of the lateral moves have been bizarre.
Our SD and one Director on our team (not mine, we’re split) was let go, along with a manager. Who is even around to tell individual contributors we’re fired? The VP?
You get to do their work
At no extra pay
Congratulations
Had my manager cut in round 1. In limbo for a few days, then got a new one. It means nothing.
You’ll get cut is my guess unfortunately
That means your VP is safe.
Nothing. You wait. If your SD is still there you may get a “you’re safe” meeting tomorrow.
