I don't feel like what I do matters when it comes to forwarding my career. However hard I work, I'm expected to do more even though I'm one of the top performers in my group. The harder I work, the more is expected of me and I get nothing in return. It honestly makes me want to just start doing only the bare minimum. I don't see a reason to try hard anymore.

If you are working for some non technical Manager full of ego..be assured you will be sc--wed sooner or later for doing the right thing. If u have any option outside this cr-p company, better move.
