When is the "big" layoff coming? Any idea on estimates on how many people will get the ax?

Layoffs? Terminated for Cause ASAP. You gone, you gone immediately no severance. Unreasonable work expectations then turn around and tell you not eligible for Unemployment, they lie. They ain't waiting til the end of the month meetings begin This week.
Relocate from the North East to Florida? Of course, any place is better than the NE...except New Mexico.

I heard no layoffs from Director Engineering, she said new projects and money,
she told us that we can be remote for ever, take a summer break, great company and we have so much work life balance
There are no WARN notices. Terminated for cause from here on out. They know who they want out. They made a list and checked it twice. Everyone is on notice.
job reqs are getting frozen.
rumor is people will be terminated for not complying with RTO 3 days/week. This is self-selection to avoid paying for layoffs.
lets see when the next round of layoffs comes.
My VP said we HAD to turn things around in Q2. Didn't say what would happen if we didn't, but said there was simply no choice. So I'm guessing they'll decide where and how big to make the cuts once Q2 numbers have been crunched.
I see no WARN notices, job postings are up, and leadership hasn't said "tighten our belt" or "tough times ahead." As of now I do not see layoffs.
