New RTO Guideline

PTO does not count as an office day. It counts as a remote day.

If you take 2 days of PTO in a given 5 day work week, you are expected to spend 3 days in the office, not 1 as before.

I honestly don't understand the issue with this, why would PTO days count as a workday in office? If you're off Thursday and Friday PTO then you would need to be in the office Monday Tuesday Wednesday if you're on a 3-day in office rule. If you're on a 5 it doesn't matter anyway.

RTO motto is to live your destination. So 24/7 in the office should suffice. Very simple.

There are new trackers that have been shown by AVPs and VPs in presentations that deep dive into an employee's badge swipe metrics, and enable them to go back 26 months to look at attendance history to ensure RTO. It's ridiculous that money and time is being spent on taking attendance and treating people like children.

Should be interesting to see what kind of compliance we have Thanksgiving week (when Thurs and Fri are both holidays) or 4th of July week (7/4 is a Thursday so lots of people will take off Friday).

With all the unused office space, I wonder if they’d let us willing people rent living space for us and our family’s to live in? I could sh1t, shave, shower and walk right out to a desk on the floor. I could truly live in my designation. My wife and I could conceive our new son on Stankey’s desk and bring forth a new company prince. Imagine the possibilities of living in my designation! 24x7! No one has ever gotten in trouble for this from where I’m at.
I took some PTO and just didn’t go in that week, no one said sh-t.
Did two days a couple weeks back, no one said sh-t.

Just badge in 3 days a week most weeks, no one cares.

I call their bluff on all this tracking. You would think tracking employees equates to a major revenue stream for T. Has T ever, I mean ever successfully managed any process? I think not, at least not that can recall, it's failure after failure after failure. Stankey has always managed by intimidation. His bark is bigger than his bite!
