Location Strategy Wave 2

TK mentioned Wave 2 in the town hall. She said it would be in either Q3 or Q4 (didn’t seem to know which felt a little annoying). Have managers been given lists yet for this wave?

With how cheap the company is now, at least we know for sure it will be before we get the 401k match.

Beyond that, I highly doubt this sloppy leadership has any plans that can actually be executed by Q3. It'll be a last minute mess to try to hit their budget and goals.

Out of the multiple people I personally know who have been displaced due to location strategy, only one was offered a relocation package. The others were extremely hard workers and overachievers and were simply let go.

I guess not everybody has wave 2 at same time. I know of a wave 2 where notices go out in late June. Its execution is half-assed (being kind).

Funny with upper management attempting to put lipstick on a pig and calling displacements "efficiencies" lately. If you pretty up a word, it's not impactful..right?

Yes most already have names or lists of names. The specific week or month they are forced to act on the list might not yet be known but some have that too.

I'd be surprised if they planned much beyond that. It is the company where executive decision making and planning consists of "we're going to a enforce a change freeze to impact everyone instead of the few that actually caused issues and will just keep extending the freezes indefinitely because that's the only decision we can think to make. that plan certainly won't blow up in our faces."

They already know everyone on the list. However, they probably don't know when specifically the list will be executed. A lot of that has to do with HR's capacity.

I know in my LOB, they pushed back a lot of layoffs to 2026 and even 2027
