Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Never-ending stream of layoffs

Is anybody else so tired of this cr-p that they're about ready to quit, consequences be damned?

I heard the severance package has been updated. You now get to keep your red stapler as a parting gift.

There are days where I want to quit to get away from the stress. CSBB is going back to the pre-scandal days and I’m worried. The leaders weren’t here to experience that, but today they’re doing the same pressure that happened back then- they’re too arrogant to see it though. All CSBB leaders have no regard to the work the employees do. There are other days when I feel I can make it through this he-l again, but only time will tell when it’s time for me to leave.

Tried to remove the zz's. You can't. They said it's "automated".

No. Each and every layoff only steels my resolve. One day I'll leave WF, but they will be writing checks for a year + 60 days for notice. I'll find another gig and be fine, but I'm getting my severance because F Shart and FHY. Those evil little men don't get what they want, not this time.

Yep - submitted my intent to retire from WF. I can’t take it anymore. Definitely will be looking for another job opportunity with less stress and greater satisfaction.

I did. Still don’t regret it and actually wish I would’ve sooner.

The height of tone deafness this week has been the employee appreciation emails and meeting invites from managers that include multiple zz names in the distribution list. It would be comical if it weren't so demoralizing. But hey, candy and the chance to watch execs flip pancakes will make it all better.

@lvz+1sU6iIAE absolutely! And to the folks who are scheduling calls with outdated disro lists littered with "zz's" . .WTF?! You're signaling you too no longer care and are tone deaf.

I’m creeped out by all the “zz”s in my emails. I’ll email someone with an update about something and find out they’re gone by the “zz”s. No notification from their team, no backup identified. They’re just gone. Good luck figuring out who you’re supposed to work with instead. All those “zz”s are a constant reminder that I’m next. Highly de-motivating.

Yup! Couldn’t stand the perpetual dread of waiting for a golden ticket (lay off/severance/unemployment) that was never going to come. I don’t have another gig lined up…but I couldn’t take this toxic, backstabbing, no direction, no leadership corporate he-l any longer. Don’t let them break you! Get out and put your time and energy into projects, causes and work that fulfills you and is appreciated!

No I like all the layoffs, I think it is grand, we need way more, it’s great for your health & family! Oh, and being unemployed is fantastic too!

Not really, it is lousy.
