Was in PNC technology and laid off earlier this year. Technology HR are puppets for the top leader of tech there. She has been battling for the top spot and finally ousted the CIO this summer & now has it all. The place is a joke... the top management team in PNC Technology (the ones that are left) are mostly lemmings for the most senior executive. She leads with threats and intimidation & hires people that will only say 'yes' to her and half of the people under her are trying to find new roles but this market just will not support an easy move. I've never seen such a retaliatory leadership that starts at the tip-top of technology. Also - god help you if you are a white older guy there.... I can't believe PNC has not been sued for discrimination with all of the older white guys they displace.

Has anyone heard anymore rumblings about more restructuring? Upper management requested a random meeting on Monday.
I had my meeting and my position is safe for now. I'm not sure if this was is as wide spread as the last one or specific to Risk Management. They mentioned that those affected have been notified and their last day is in August.
