Next week is also Layoff Tuesday, what are the chances they pause and wait until the 25th?

2 weeks of employee appreciation events at the Innslake Campus in Glen Allen, as they’re preparing to lay us all off and send our jobs overseas. There are some really sick people running this company. I can’t wait to go in next Wednesday and get my cookie.
@iny I always thought Charlie was more of a sadist getting off on inflicting pain on others.
Reminds me of the saying, "The beatings will continue until morale improves!"
WF is vile.
I think we should ALL boycott the clown show. I can't believe the really expect employees who have lost colleagues almost every other week since the end of Q1 to be all happy-go-lucky to meet with a bunch of inept narcissists.
Zero. Charlie is a masochist
I think this is the EXACT reason our team's layoffs were pushed to the 25th - not sure of every team will take the same approach though. Personally, I'd rather start collecting my severance two weeks earlier rather than sit through the appreciation BS, all the while knowing the truth of what's coming for me and my teammates.
Considering the whole vibe of the week is "mandatory recognition," I don't think they'll be concerned about anyone's reaction to layoffs that week.
Agree with zero chance. This is a bank that can't help but step all over itself, and has demonstrated time after time that the left hand never knows what the right hand is doing (e.g. payments fiasco, shoreview). The displacement pipeline is 60 days long - there is no way some HR Pleeb and some Anti-Union Pleeb hammered this out 2 months ago.
Zero chance.
