Thread regarding CVS layoffs

Fear not. Amy gets paid in full

Despite having an obvious and well understood non-compete with Cigna, CVS attempted to poach Amy B's talents by agreeing to pay her full and very handsome $10M salary for 2 full years, even if no work is performed. Oh well, see you in January 2025.

I wonder if CVS would unilaterally release all of their current and former employees from their non-competes. Doubtful.

How are the new IT executives? Was there anything wrong with the ones who got laid off? Or are they just looking to fill the slots with their circle?

She only/still gets 10 million over 2 years... for doing nothing....... It doesn't seem that different from the other Executives... especially the new IT executives.

They were going to spend 5 million a year on someone that never read or can't understand their non-compete.... awesome.

No wonder this ship is sinking and being filled with new deadweight, over-educated, leaders coming in from irrelevant non-healthcare companies
