Thread regarding JPMorgan Chase & Co. layoffs

Typical JPMC discriminatory behavior

To the aholes running JPMC:

Just tell us you won't be filing GC instead of wasting our time.
No need to get all toxic and coming up with creative ways to fire employees.
I've also witnessed the past few RIFs were purely based on discrimination due to race and their status.

Kudos to this man, Khare:

HR is useless and doesn’t care. Managers remove those reportees who are more
Competent than them. It’s the insecurity driven firing culture. Being the best performer isn’t measurable and depends on whom managers want to favor.

Executive director's in JPMorgan are envious, selfish, bunch of credit grabbing pricks... Self- centered on copying their reportees work as their own work and preparing grounds on firing the so called reportee. Scrum bags. HR is in cahoots with these executive director's.

Do you not know that one of the requirements of hiring an immigrant is that you looked for a citizen to fill the role and you could not find enough sufficiently skilled workers?

That’s not the case anymore. So many immigrants get into these roles at corporations that could literally be filled by anyone because it requires no skill to move over a ticket from “in progress” to “complete”, and that’s literally ALL many of these roles require.

These corporations have been breaking the rules for quite some time now for political reasons. You know somebody, who knows somebody, and they are looking to fill a role with someone whose skin pigmentation is sufficiently dark.

What have you done to earn any of it?

A bunch of posts here are claiming JPM favors Indians, now this one is opposite. This is why they are outsourcing, millennials and gen z are fu---d up in the head and they would rather get someone for cheaper who do not complain about sh-t like this.

I'd say HRs aren't racist because first of all they have no idea what's going on behind the scenes. They're just told from mgrs so they're only hearing one side of the story and then HR execute it.
It is the mgrs who are very racist leading to these kinds of workplace discrimination; where stack rankings aren't based on performance; its based on whatever the mgr 'feels'.
If that employee is on a visa plus would need GC sponsorship soon, performance is often disregarded because of budgeting issues.
We're professional misers when it comes to these; we don't need highly talented ppl to do the job.

Not a fan of JPM's HR practices, but I doubt the veracity of the claims in the article. The terminated employee in the article knows the US is a litigious country, and he's looking for a payout under the guise of discrimination.

Blame it on their use of stack ranking for managing people, but JPM isn't a racist corporation.
