I think we all won with WFH as our daily work hours stayed about the same (nobody worked eight hours at the office with long lunches, gym, commute, etc) but we can enjoy it a lot more.

I am winning every day since I left CVX and no longer suffer from the cognitive dissonance created by the irreconcilable differences between CVX company values and my own personal values.

" doing the things I like rather then working for the man", like @6bnh said, winning is FOFH (F-Off From Home), referred to officially as WFH for anyone who asks, we can do anything we want at home and nearby, just check into your computer periodically, but it's basically like getting paid for doing nothing. Of course, everyone knows, we don't do nothing, many of use have to mow the lawn and tend to our kids and cook meals. Just nice to get a paycheck for those things we have to do anyway. It's really nice to get paid to stay home, do chores, play video games and take care of the kids. And if anyone asks, it's simple, just lie and tell them you get more done from home, and you are more efficient. Easy peasy, free money!

"Winning in any environment" is for the company, not for the employee. It includes layoffs, minimal raises and CIP, all to fund the dividend, stock buy-backs, and executive bonuses. Now go back to the grindstone and win for MW...

I'm winning in this environment because the buildings have no windows and Im back WFH and spending my days getting paid the same but doing the things I like rather then working for the man . CVX compensation is pretty awesome given how much you get paid for how little you have to do and the titanic is not impacted

I'm winning in any environment because I took the EOI in 2020, getting out of this mess.

MW’s old lady is winning in any environment. He has reportly spent nearly five million dollars on jewelry for her so she could fit in at San Francisco society events.

Who said the typical employee is going to win in any environment? This was all set up for the top executives to win in any environment, look at their compensation package and you see despite high inflation, low CIP, lower oil and gas realized price, or delay in TCO project or fatalities, they all got a very handsome package year after year! So yeah they are winning big!

When oil prices are high we win by having higher margins than others. When oil prices are low we win by buying cheap reserves. When gas prices are high we win by building more LNG trains. When gas prices are low we win by having long term contracted tied to oil prices.

Bada.
