I reported being abused in the workplace to the speak up portal. They said “appropriate parties were notified” but no one ever talked with me. Go to reporters with this sh-t. Document everything on a personal device. Take it to the media. Nike will keep violating SEC regulations, abusing employees, etc. until its national attention

Says the (rather naive) person who HASN'T been bullied by Nike! I was bullied after I quit which (haha on them) means I didn’t sign an NDA. Yes, posting here is good to vent and to bring awareness to someone who has drank a little too much kool-aid.

Talking to the Oregonian and the press is the right thing to do and I believe folks are starting to do that. If enough come forward, maybe Nike will actually do the right thing! If they turn their “toxic culture” clean-up into a marketing strategy maybe? So far, it’s not been that way. They don’t walk the talk. They do the things to make money that ultimately is turning retro gold into a cash cow spoiled milk.

Point being if enough people come forward they won’t have enough lawyers to bully everyone! Yes, yes I am going to the press.

Nike could innovate and lead and it’s obvious their EGO is in the way.

Comment on a specific ELT’s social media posts and their account goes private within 24 hours. Pretty sure there was a post outing the Rat a week or two before he was let go too.

This site is more reliable than Speak Up.

FYI….there’s HR, ER, LTs, SLTs, DR, Sr DR and IC visiting this sight. Most would not admit but they all want to glean something about that place that uses and abuses people while advancing nepo babies and those with clout. So, if you don’t want the word on the street, suit yourself. But most people on this site need a place to learn and may be express - how it feels, or somehow understand how it will feel when it finally happens to you OP

This site with all its venting helps tremendously potential job seekers like me - and I'm not sure that problems don't really get fixed, negative publicity can be a strong motivator for some people to not engage in shenanigans. Please keep on posting, that's what this site is for.

OP is partially correct. This site won’t help, much past venting. However, ER and HR most likely won’t help you. So for they are either powerless, vindictive or don’t care. Pick your poison.
