Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

accenture

New word is that Dan's plan involves firing a bunch more people and whoever is left will be forced to become accenture contractors losing all benefits. Can anyone else confirm this?

Ascension did this same move right before they had a catastrophic cyber attack that has crippled their entire business for months.

The reason this is happening is that there's no value in keeping these employees when you can offshore and save money. Our infrastructure is so behind the times it doesn't make a difference who runs it.

I've heard that we will be laying off a large number in CT&O to be replaced with Accenture offshore but I've not heard that everyone left will be rebadged as Accenture contractors. I can tell you there's no way in he-l I'm sticking around if they try to move me to Accenture.

I believe you have the gist of it, minus the huge bonus he’ll receive for doing it.
