Thread regarding SAP layoffs

Shame on you, SAP!!

Shame on you, SAP!

I know of several colleagues impacted by the so called "restructuring" that are currently in the middle of interviews (2nd or 3rd) for internal SAP positions. These colleagues have been told that even if there needs to be additional interviews next week, they will not be able to continue the process and must leave the company tomorrow (May 31st).

Why did you allow these colleagues to apply for positions, get selected by the hiring manager for interviews, start interviews and then cut them off? This is very, very bad of you. Are you trying to curse your company? At least let these folks continue the interview process after they a separated, then give them a waiver if they get an offer by the hiring manager.

This happened to me as well. I was told no extension unless you have a firm offer in hand.

"Bad Karma..." Agreed, a company can't treat human being so horribly and expect to get away with it in the long term.

Also heard that this happened too (in US).

I fear very, very bad karma is coming to SAP :(

What country?

In Ireland, they have said the notice period is extended for anyone in an ongoing interview process for an internal role.

USA I presume?
