TT reporting into CTO, another play to hide someone who brings no value to Nike and takes credit for everyone’s work as her own. When will leadership wake up?

Astonished at all of the TT hate. CF is 10x worse than her. EC does nothing. Now your challenge is to find a good VP leader in GT.
@4lwy+1sMycdxo - false. I know TT quite well and hung out with her both in and outside of work until I found out the hard way the negative things said about her were true. I gave her benefit of the doubt after the first incident, but she showed her true colors a second time and I didn’t stay close to her to be burned a 3rd.
As a person outside of her job she is fun, entertaining, and likable but at work those characteristics are just for show.
I’m a female SD in GT and agree with all the negative comments here about TT. She doesn’t get a pass because she’s a woman. In fact, her behavior makes it that much harder for other female leaders in GT to be successful. She should be an example of how to lead, not the opposite.
There are plenty of strong female leaders at Nike and in GT, but so few VPs in GT are women it doesn’t give us much to work with. VA was great (big loss for Nike when she left) and IY also good, and outside of GT there are countless strong female VPs.
This is not about TT being a woman. That is your bullsh-t dei speaking. There are tons of great strong women at Nike. The GM of Apla, the global VP of Nike direct, the chief legal officer, the CTO, etc etc
TT clearly has negatively impacted a lot of people. That’s clear, that’s on her and her style.
TT is a Nike veteran and loved by anyone who knows her. Redirect your outrage machine on something that actually deserves it. Or better yet, f*ck off.

@3abb+1sMycdxo Wrong… it has all to do with what they continue to fail to do, one more failed strategy. And no don’t compare TT to HON—TT NOT EVEN close. It’s the way they treat others in their own path. BS making this a women call- it’s all in the “how”.
Other VPs in GT are no better than TT. Complaining only about TT and HON shows general mentality of Nike employees. Can’t handle strong woman leader.
@3ars+1sMycdxo This has nothing to do with s-xism— it has to do with how TT has shown up for years - and continues to do so.. unprofessional (including some offsites she’d probably not want people not to know about), belittling, insecure, demonstrates bullying behavior, and doesn’t demonstrate any of the Nike Maxims— stay out of her way to avoid the wrath

TT has her problems, but I don’t see her as being any better/worse than her peers in GT. All VPs are self interested ego maniacs!

Agreed. Take notice not a single complaint about any names in that announcement except for one. On this platform that says A LOT if you have been here before.
It will be known quickly when people are not deserving of recognition so read between the lines when there is only one name thrown out there of the 4-5 whatever were included. Nobody has a bad thing to say about anyone but one.
@ 1flb+1sMycdxo did you read the comments? They clearly describe why people hate TT as a leader. Not sure what parts of those comments you missed, but if you truly want to know why - reread the comments below.
Why so much hate towards TT…she’s just doing her job just like any other Nike leaders.
If anyone had an issue with anyone else in the announcement it would have been brought up well before now. That’s why you see the topic of this thread heavily weighted towards one direction.
What do people think about other new VPs in GT.

TT uses her past backgrounds to morph unintelligent people’s ideas into her own. I’ve known her for about 5 years, she was always power hunger but in the early years couldn’t find the right opportunity. Wasn’t until she left HR she accelerated her career.
She knew how to manipulate, cheat, and lie her way to the next opportunity. The only people who were friends with her were people who couldn’t figure her out.
I figured her out early on and played it cautious around her. She’s smart, but not in the way you would consider “smart”. Smart as she smells blood in the water and takes her shot to get ahead.
True ladder climber and doesn’t care who she steps over to get up to the next level.
Now that she’s been a VP for a few years, I don’t that there is anyone who can stop her.
Worse she has a trail of sycophant bootlickers that follow her from team to team. Can you imagine knowing how awful she is but still drafting in her wake? There are several…. It’s like a homegrown Rat
You know how they say d-mb people don’t know they’re d-mb? She is worse - toxic incompetence. As soon as she realizes there is a smarter person in the room she will backstab and steal their work. There is a trail of corpses in her wake. Apparently that is what Nike seeks in senior leaders - toxicity and incompetence.
TT is a joke, saw her in action during SEC. Big time talker, less knowledgeable about technology or people leadership. Perfect leader for GT.
Haven't heard anything from her since taking over CF and don't know anything about her either. Most of these "leaders" are utterly forgettable though, so curious as well.

Your problem is leadership or the board.
They are the ones that promoted her.
TT is so incredibly toxic. I am so happy to no longer be working there. Any company that views her as a leader is not one I want to be a part of…What a horrible human being.
TT is the worst and been trying to climb the ladder stepping on whatever she needs to in order to get there for a long time. Self absorbed, treats only her favorites kindly and squashes anyone she sees as potential threat— including most other strong females. Only can hope karma catches up at some point.
