Remaining IT staff have been pooled into groups, no longer build/run, all one group, and they are all training Accenture to do their jobs. Many of them think they will still have jobs after the training is done and Accenture takes over :/ I hope they all get a decent severance when its done. I wouldn't train my replacement, no matter what the severance promise was. GL to them still there!

The company actually LOSES money by outsourcing. The knowledge isn't there. Defects constantly going in production. Using outdated cr-p applications to document everything. Agile bs. Go back to the old ways of doing things. Full time employees who understand systems, policies, testing etc A-z. Instead of a million offshore employees 5 to a household, phone and email scamming as they WAH. There's very few offshore people that are actually doing their job.
Outsourcing is not the answer. The quality of work is horrible. They need to go back to FTE's who don't get overturned every quarter. Retain knowledge and stop trying to push out work so fast.

There isn’t anything to see here. Company isn’t making money and they need to cut costs so managed services providers make sense. From what I hear about CVS there is so much dead weight over there it’s time to start cutting the fat.

In Tilaks org its Accenture going forward. The clowns from Twitter/MGM have been partners with Accenture in the past and are full steam ahead with them. Maybe in other orgs infosys and tcs will still be around, but in that org they will weed them out or not renew contracts

what about Engineers and testers, they are remote in US correct as the work cannot be done outside USA!
IT staff=Sever admins, cloud admins, network admins, SOC, application support, etc. The laptop setup people have to be onsite or close at least. Everything else is going to Accenture/India
IT staff= folks who set up laptops for the 300,000 professionals.
