Stock in 50s.. last year they did layoffs when it was like 70. Why did it drop so much? More acquisitions or losses?

Stock dropped due to corporate mismanagement and a very bad 1st quarter. Yes losses are a concern now for CVS. I fairly certain that the stock will be in the 40's really soon and the more it falls the more corporate will cut to try to save the ship.
Stock price is largely reflection of the markets appreciation for the ability of a company's management structure to deliver on its stated expectations.
If you keep hitting your goals the markets reward with a higher price as its shows they beleave in the organization.
If you miss and in our case miss and also revise down tgen the market will slam the stock as a show that management cant navigate its own microeconomy but also accurately indicate how they plan to preform.
If a company cant tell you how its going to do xyz ..then why shoukd people invest in such loosers.
Market esentially says..F this ill take my bucks elsewhere when management has some clue as to what they are doing.
Why? Government run amok...spend and print. Kick the can down the road. Bring in millions of dependents (illegals). Foolish spending on green initiatives. Why you ask? Oh, and a failing education system
