Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

COBRA Coverage

For those who were impacted by prior Nike re-orgs, did Nike cover 100% of the COBRA premium (i.e., employer + employee monthly insurance premium) or only the employer portion of the COBRA insurance for x months?

And, did you have to sign up for COBRA coverage or was it just provided by the company?

Thank you.

@jgn+1sFTGjZD - this is a reasonable question many people had who were offered severance. It’s one of the first questions I asked. No ones lying.

When in doubt, just email PeopleSolutions.

First round layoffs are still under full NIKE insurance through this month. My understanding is that there is “full Cobra coverage” being provided by NIKE (no out of pocket expenses)

This is an honest question, as I was impacted and just received my COBRA paperwork to sign.

Can someone who knows please share what the company covers in terms of COBRA health insurance (employer and/or employee health insurance premium)? It’s not at all clear.

Thank you.
