When was the last time that you felt safe at Nike? I did for years until recently. Someone please tell me what's going on. I've never felt more uncertain about my job until these last few years. I'm hearing this at other companies. Is this the new reality? Keeping employees guessing their fate? I just want a job where I can work and do what I do and provide for my family. I don't need this extra stress. Do I have a job? Don't have a job? WTF

The top levels of government are basically installed by wall street.
The government has racked up an enormous amount of debt.
We are accruing 1 trillion in debt every 100 days.
I think the overpaid folks in government are sc--wing you.
The question is what happens to all of this when we collapse or go to war.
Look at government work. The pay isn’t great but everyone I know who works in government is mostly happy with it. They like their benefits and knowing that their jobs aren’t at the whim of next quarter’s or next year’s earnings. They’ve chosen job security and generous benefits over higher pay and increasingly, with how corporate America is acting, I think the people who work for government have their priorities straight.
Do second job. Many Indian folks in GT have become restaurant owners, realtors in the side. They do that during their working hours at Nike.
Start working for yourself. This is corporate America unfortunately. Have you noticed how many of Nike employees have a second job? A lot of realtors and shop owners are among us. I do not blame them
