Can someone share their experience with severance and WARN? I was with the company for 8 years and received a severance package of 3 weeks plus an additional 4 weeks (based on the table shared in the thread). My last day with the company is set to be 9 weeks after the layoff.
I am supposed to get 10 weeks plus an additional 4 weeks after WARN? I am confused...
Please be considerate of one another. I'm not sure what to expect, but we'll take it one day at a time.

Venmo team members got it on Thursday, so I'm thinking next weeks we will see more bloodbath. Well, what are you gonna do. It's like have a nice weekend.
Ok idk what this Alex Criss is talking about other than fear mongering. I was offered the same as the other poster 10 weeks plus one week for every year over 5. Insurance was given for the full month after term date and the cobra for 6 months.
What about health insurance? Can anyone confirm what was offered this time

Severance Pay for Years of Service:
5 years = 1 week base salary
6 years = 2 weeks base salary
7 years = 3 weeks base salary
8 years = 4 weeks base salary
9 years = 5 weeks base salary
10 years = 6 weeks base salary
11 years = 7 weeks base salary
12 years = 8 weeks base salary
13 years = 9 weeks base salary
14 years = 10 weeks base salary
15 years and above = 11 weeks base salary
For anyone asking what severances are received this round….my offer was 10 weeks of pay and then an extra 2 weeks for “years of service” assume because I was just about at 7 years. So I would say 10 weeks for 0-5 years and a week for every year after. Seems across the board a friend of mine was similar of course contingent on signing the agreement and returning computer. They will also pay out your PTO.
Laying off the highest paid, until Sr. Director level. Also they will, of course, never touch that waste of space, overpriced, bloated NYC office. They do this constantly just so they can keep paying those id--ts way too much to keep wrecking the company. This CEO is equally bad, and somehow less qualified and intelligent.
For those that were affected, can you share your severance? I’m so sorry this is happening. I’ve heard anecdotally that severance is not as good as it’s been in the past.
If I was asked to upskill or help prepare guidelines for someone in a cheaper site you can bet I would not do a good job. Time and time again this company has people train their cheap replacements.

If ireland is affected I’d guess they’ll send an email late in the evening on a Friday again. Can’t recall for sure but last time in Ireland we got the notification a week or so later than our American teammates?
Can anyone indicate if Ireland is safe. Sorry to those laid off. It could be a blessing in disguise.
Interesting that offshore ICA stayed. It's very clear that they are not seeking to keep top talent but instead are eliminating jobs based on how much they are being paid.
Ica is internal consultancy and advice. Basically internal support for teammates for the more complex customer stuff.
Any idea if the eu ica will be impacted as well? Or when that news might arrive

North American ICA wiped out. No clue yet how many were impacted. Just a random meeting mid-morning with the entire department shut down.
My brother-in-law got a meeting invite for 30 mins from now and he is in ICA NA.
