I strongly dislike the BS I have to put up with, but my workload is so low since the productive members of my group are doing most of the work.

Ya, it su-ks. Layoffs can be a blessing. You find something better that you'll eventually hate just asuch, except the pay is better.
For long-time employees, this is a common theme. It's hard to be motivated about your work when you are expendable based on your location. AKA geographically challenged, new protected group.
Breathe… Regroup… I know you are bigger than anything that Wells Fargo can put in front of you. Either handle this or get out to save your mental faculties.
