Benefit “refresh”- how bad will it be?!

Over the years we’ve had multiple benefit “refreshes”. Some of them very good, such as the addition of AIP and caregiver leave, some of them barely noticed. We all know it’s coming, what are everyone’s thoughts? Will we see reduced or discontinued AIP and a reduction in 401k match?

Dan Tufto Just announced no change to our benefits for 2025. They will re-evaluate for 2026. Of course this comes after the annual engagement survey. Humana has broken me financially with this year's benefit plan. I have had to spend the equivalent of 9% of my yearly income on health care costs this year. I can't do it again next year!

Guild is useless. They refuse to reimburse me for CEUs and certification renewal. Humana invested in me to get me certified.
It’s still education, not a dime.

I think they will keep the guild benefits because not many people use it. It's one of those things that sound great , but doesn't in the end actually cost a lot of money due to not everyone using it.

Dear Humana Leadership: We don’t care about Virgin Pulse or ridiculous wellness programs or d-mb saving programs like Secure Save. What we want, is higher merit increases AND cost of living/inflation increases, and to receive our full AIP. I find it baffling that Humana has NEVER implemented inflation pay increases, yet C-suite executives get paid millions of dollars a year, in addition to bonuses, to pay for their mistresses and yachts.

They discontinued AIP for Professional 1’s. I think it’s highly likely that they will discontinue AIP for Professional 2’s and just make AIP for Senior Professionals and above. (Which su-ks, because I’m a P2 and I rely on my AIP). I also think they will reduce our 401k match to something ridiculous like 3%, and I think they will completely remove Guild or reduce the amount. Apparently, less than 20% of all the associates who are eligible for Guild, actually use it, so I think drastic changes will be coming to Guild. Which is frustrating, because I actually take advantage of Guild, the tuition reimbursement is amazing, and I wish more people took advantage of it. We’re supposed to find out what benefits will be reduced during the summer (June or July). I don’t have any insider knowledge of what exact benefits will be reduced, I’m just guessing based off of the options on the survey.
