Anyone have any insight into the groups that will be impacted or is it everyone?

Here’s the Math walk…
Nike has 83,700 Employees worldwide. 2% = 1674.
When you subtract the In House Manufacturing (Air bags), retail and warehouse, you are left with around 26,000 “corporate” jobs globally.
1674 of 26k = 6.4% reduction in corporate.
480 “exits” in round 1 back in February
1194 to go in round 2 (round 1,2 in Europe)
Confirmed 740 total (round 1 + 2) at WHQ / 11,400 = 6.5% at WHQ.
I’d speculate 450-500 remain (of the 11,400 = ~4%) at WHQ in Beaverton over this next week will be “exited”.
Should close some offices, starting with BATC (that’s JD excuse to fly down on the corporate jet to be with his family)

May the odds be in your favor my friend……

See below for areas impacted in phase 2. The Workvivo FAQ answers this....

Which teams will be impacted by the second phase?
"Phase 2 will primarily impact Supply Chain and Consumer & Marketplace. There will also be additional changes to HR, the Office of the General Counsel (OGC), Demand and Supply Management (DSM), Finance and Global Tech teams."

GAP (EADP now) in GT may have had cuts on Friday morning but they are done with layoffs now. The VP didn't say there were none.

Again, it's splashed on workvivo. I'm actually shocked that people seem so anxious and yet don't even bother to read company FAQs and announcements...

No cut for GAP org, our VP confirmed. Not using new org name because most people still don’t know about it. VP - JC

OP here. Definitely not a reporter, just a nervous/anxious black badge who is hoping to still have a job by Friday.

Here yall go downvoting someone asking a legitimate question yall really be pressed . OP I don’t know what org you’re in or if you’re a reporter, personally it doesn’t matter because protecting a corporation as they enact one of the shittiest layoffs known to man is peak cognitive dissonance . As far as I know everyone is on the chopping block outside of Air Mi and Retail. They’re not telling because they want it to be a surprise but I’ve been hearing about Supply Chain cuts and Merchandising mass reorgs at the minimum for APLA.
