It's madness. Mostly it's just so confusing - my team has no idea what the actual recommendations are because we haven't gotten any of the geo emails, but because of the matrix I work with multiple VPs who are all saying slight variations of what to do about WFH. It's driving me crazy, and I'm already so stressed about being laid off. Worst employee experience ever.

My new leader just pi---d away all that good will we would have had for him by telling us nothing
I thought layoffs were supposed to be JD’s speciality, can’t even organize one of these properly
You would think they’d have learned something from the god awful CDO reorg in 2021. They probably canned all those people too though 🙄
I would rate this experience as one star on Yelp. They don’t allow zeroes.
Yeah seems like our great fearless leader… hasn’t said anything yet maybe because he’s being roasted about the whole WFH thing and you know if he sends an email stating we’ll work from home next week it’ll look “bad”. SO I’m sure we’ll get emails cascaded out from VPs or something in the near term. Only time will tell…
My VP said this morning that direction was still evolving on whether or not my group will wfh. How long has this been planned for again?
Such a poor execution. Phase 1 was rough, but this is definitely worse. Right now I am just hoping that they get their sh-t together enough to have all the exit conversations as quickly as possible.
You’ll always get more reliable information through rumors or third parties like this website. Internal communication has always struggled in times like these.
