Iowa posted their WARN notification late Thursday night, but this one looks different than the rest. For example, two weeks ago, the layoff date AND notice date was for 04/02/2024 for five people. This week it shows a layoff date of 6/16/2024 and notice date of 04/16/2024. Not sure why the difference, but just something I noticed.
Oh, and it was for 7 souls losing their job.
Like clockwork...every two weeks!
Conspiracy theory: In two weeks, it will be 4/30 which is another layoff date. If you are in a state that has a WARN notification for 60 days (which most states are), that would mean 6/29 is the date clearing those team members from the books before the end of the second quarter. I theorize that the layoff in two weeks will be much bigger than the previous ones.
