Why are some people allowed to relocate to one of the hubs and others are not? They work in the same group, same role, some were told they can relocate to a hub others were told they cannot. How discriminatory is that?

PR cover. They know a very large majority will refuse to move across the country, but by offering it appears that they give an S about retaining talent. They don't, it's all a charade. If they don't get the numbers fired they are looking for, they'll circle back and S can more people, including those that relocated.
@1ooi+1s6UK9TV -not true. It’s happening in my broader group too and has nothing to do with performance or DEI. It boils down to some managers willingness to speak up for their folks and get them moved, and other managers just worrying about themselves.
It is a combination of both. A chance to lower head count but also an opportunity to cut dead wood. No one is being offered a chance to relocate on their own.
The power of public opinion allows the public to avoid wells Fargo. Management thinks that it can pretend millions of clients weren't defrauded and that employing easier, but outdated technology will cure all ills. That approach is naive and dishonest. My goal is for wells fargo to be shut down, it's name forever removed from the landscape that's a reasonable goal.
They aren’t underperforming DE&I hires. They are performing to the best of their suppressed and oppressed abilities!
It is never the fault of those who have a negative experience. It is always someone else’s fault for putting that experience on them.
We need a class on what discrimination actually is …. I am so sick of hearing it thrown around by under performing, entitled DEI hires.
If being a member of a title VIi protected class is what’s driving that decision then that’s illegal discrimination.
Our pay, titles, level are all ways of separating us, where some of us have privileges that others don’t. That’s legal “discrimination.”
Exactly that - performance……in some areas, they have discretion to allow some to relocate vs. being laid off if their performance warrants it.
su-k it up buttercup
Leader after leader have stated that the location strategy will be carried out in waves with the first wave to begin in May.
@OP in what area of the bank did that take place?
I didn't think that was an option, rather their choice of who they want to keep vs. those they want to cut or move the job overseas.
