Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

Joe Thompson

With all the news of the recent layoffs of top executives, it proves that Joe Thompson was nowhere near as bad as a few made him out to be. (And it was likely the same person pretending to be many people)

While Joe may be the least of SunTruist problems, he is symbolic of all the leadership problems. He ran what Bill wants to be the flagship of the bank down and then was rewarded with a new EL position where be will have influence across the bank and certainly with Bill. As far as Beau being CEO it would be a continuation of Bill’s purpose and care nonsense and brings NOTHING new for this bank. I have no doubt Beau will become CEO in the next 12 months and the game will continue.

I don’t understand all the hate for JT. He is the least of our problems.

Joe is protected because of his daddy’s legacy….it IS that bad. Ask 90% in the Wealth division.
